WINNING DESIGN ANNOUNCED
INTERNATIONAL architecture firm PTW Architects, in association with award-winning practice Collins and Turner, and landscape architects McGregor Coxall, have won a competition design for the former Cumberland Newspapers headquarters located at 142 Macquarie Street, Parramatta. The winning design features three mixed-use towers, a 60-storey residential tower along with an additional 35 level and a 25 level building hosting 964 residential apartments,
BUILDINGS UP TO 25 STOREYS
THE Hills Council has approved plans for buildings of up to 25 storeys on Maitland Drive in Baulkham Hills Sitting adjacent to Norwest Town Centre Residential Development and Castle Hill Country Club, the area could be transformed into a mixed use space including 400 residential units, a child care centre, retail space and a health and fitness centre.
DEVELOPER PROPOSES 900 UNITS
CHINESE developer Greenland Australia has unveiled plans to build 900 apartments on a 153-hectare site, in Lachlan’s Lane, Macquarie Park, in six mixed-use towers with heights between seven and 17 storeys.
