EAT Street Car Park in Parramatta is set to undergo a major transformation designed to make the car park a more welcoming and user-friendly space for visitors and regular users of the multi-level facility. The $135,000 upgrade will include the installation of wayfinding maps, signage on every level of the car park and new creative design elements to enhance user experience. The upgrade is part of a pilot project which is expected to be completed by July 2017. COSTCO, which currently has two stores in NSW, at Lidcombe and Casula, expects to open its third outlet in NSW, a 13,575-square-metre outlet, at Marsden Park, in mid-2017, employing 250 full and part-time staff. This will be the company’s seventh store in Australia.

The centre is fully leased to Woolworths and Red Rooster parent company, which are long-term occupants. Net Income is approximately $597,750 annually plus GST. Woolworths accounts for 77.5 per cent of total income.

FAIRFIELD City Council will make a submission to the Local Government Remuneration Tribunal supporting its claim to be upgraded to a Metropolitan Major council such as Blacktown and Penrith. Council seeks the reclassification so it could bring major infrastructure to the city and can work towards being a regional player.
