Lock in hall hire for 2016

PENRITH Community groups and businesses who want to hire a community centre or hall for 2016 are encouraged to apply now. Mayor Ross Fowler OAM said the city boasted a number of premier venues for hire, with most offering air-conditioning. “It’s great that Council can support our lively and close-knit community by providing affordable hire of local facilities,’’ he said. This year almost 200 groups used Council facilities, including playgroups, dance groups, yoga, youth activities and seniors groups.” With about 40 community facilities available for hire across Penrith, community groups can nominate their preferred regular meeting space for next year. Local businesses can also use facilities offering affordable office and meeting space. There are a range of spaces available to suit small to large activities and new groups are always welcome to book. Check out the features of each facility at www.penrithcity.nsw.gov.au Or phone 4732 8021.
