REPETITIONS FITNESS AIMS TO RAISE $20K

Rigorous workout doubles as a fundraiser
REPETITIONS Fitness Group at Rouse Hill aims to raise $20,000 for two vital charities at its Marathon Saturday Workout Challenge on March 11.

The event will raise funds for the Bears of Hope and Feel the Magic and Repetitions members and guests will undertake a rigorous workout in teams or individuals as part of the fundraiser.
 
The public is encouraged to get behind the event and donate to this special fundraiser.
 
Teams will take part in the Workout at Repetitions which is located at 22/322 Annangrove Rd Rouse Hill.
 
The Workouts will kick off at 5am, 8am and 11am and participants are being encouraged to attend prior to their workout time and support everyone or hang back after they have completed their workout.
 
The Workout schedule is:
At the start of each workout there will be a five to 10 minute memorial for all those who have “left us too soon” with participants invited to “send in your photos of the loved ones you have lost”.
A DJ will be playing from 8am..
A BBQ will be running with all purchases going directly to the two charities. Toms Family Butcher has donated the meat.
A Raffle will be held on the day with all proceeds going to the two charities. 
Drinks will be available on the day with the proceeds donated to the charities.
 
The Workout:
 
To ensure that everyone will be able to complete the workout participants are able to elect to do the workout in pairs or a group of three. If you really want to push yourself you can do it as a team of one.
 
Groups of two or three will split the workout between them, but only one person at a time will be allowed to work.
 
· 5km Row - estimated 20 - 30 minutes to complete.
· 200 Calories on the Air Bike - estimated 15 - 25 minutes to complete.
- 10km Spin Bike - estimated 20 - 30 minutes to complete.
· 3km Ski Erg Distance - estimated 10 - 20 minutes to complete.
· 20 Stair Runs - estimated four -The seven minutes to complete.
· 50 Chin Ups / TRX Rows - estimated five - 10 minutes to complete.
· 100 Wall Balls -estimated eight - 12 minutes to complete.
· 200 Burpees - estimated 12 - 15 minutes to complete.
· 100 Lunges - estimated eight - 12 minutes to complete.
· 100 Push Ups - estimated eight - 12 minutes to complete.
· 100 Sit Ups - estimated five - eight minutes to complete.
 
The "Marathon" Workout should take between 2.5 to 3 hours. The Goal  is to raise a total of $20k with $10k for each charity.
 
And $10k for Feel the Magic would mean they would be able to send six kids to Camp Magic. It costs around $1610 to send each child to one camp.
 
The $10k for Bears of Hope would mean another cuddle cot and counselling support for families who have lost their baby.
