The clinic is located at Jeffrey House,,162 Marsden Street) to help Western Sydney residents get tested locally and quickly.
The temporary walk-in clinic, which is open from Monday to Friday between 9 and 4pm, will provide a convenient way for community members to get a free COVID-19 test, including those who have been in COVID-19 case locations such as the Milky Lane burger restaurant Parramatta, Picton Hotel, Thai Rock restaurant in Stockland Wetherill Park, or Crossroads Hotel and Planet Fitness gym in Casula.
WSLHD chief executive Graeme Loy said people who visit this clinic do not need a doctor’s referral and can simply walk on in.
“Ensuring our residents have easy access to testing is a crucial part of preventing the spread of COVID-19 and keeping our community safe,” Graeme said.
“I commend our staff who are working tirelessly in response to the changing situation and helping protect the community from any further spread of COVID-19.”
Anyone with any symptoms of COVID-19 should self-isolate and arrange to get tested. Symptoms include sore throat, cough, fever, fatigue (unexplained tiredness) and loss of taste or smell.
