Child’s books have been published in 47 languages in over 100 countries, with over 100 million books sold – approximately one every nine seconds. His work was launched into the pop-culture stratosphere when his ninth volume, One Shot, became a Hollywood blockbuster starring Tom Cruise.
The film, aptly named Jack Reacher, was followed in 2016 with Jack Reacher: Never Go Back. Naturally, Child’s prolific writing has seen him take home a swathe of literary awards.
