Christmas in July supports Special Olympics

CHRISTMAS In July celebrations at the WatervieW in Bicentennial Park is among the region’s most popular events.

Last year, the event attracted guests from around Australia and overseas. Business people and friends gathered to enjoy a sumptuous meal, fantastic entertainment and raise much needed funds for Special Olympics Australia.

This year’s event will be held on Thursday July 18.

It is an opportunity to leave the worries of the work day behind and entertain clients, staff, family and friends with entertainment supplied by Channel 10 journalist and meteorologist, Magdalena Roze and performances by Talent Development Project.

Each year, WatervieW in Bicentennial Park proudly host this event for Special Olympics Australia. Kathryn Carmody, Director of Sales and Marketing says: “Christmas in July is one of a series of events held by WatervieW in Bicentennial Park as part of our Corporate Social Responsibility program. We invite other Sydney businesses to join us as we strive to make a difference in the lives of intellectually disabled children and adults.”

Special Olympics Australia provides weekly sports training opportunities for people with an intellectual disability. They rely on the generosity of corporate and private supporters and an army of volunteers to run their programs.

Experience the magic of Christmas in July at WatervieW in Bicentennial Park. Tickets cost $75pp or $65 for pensioners. Tables of 10 are $750.

The ticket price includes a Christmas themed, three-course meal with soft drinks, beer, wine and sparkling as well as entertainment. Lunch starts at 12 noon with networking and registration.
