In a connected world, building and owning networks is central to success as consumers become increasingly demanding and savvy in the choices they make.
This month sees the continuation of the popular MIB: Masters in Business education and networking events on Monday, July 22nd at Event Cinemas, Castle Towers.
MIB events are supported by Event Cinema’s Gold Class Experience and The Hills Shire Council.
They bring together business owners who want to stay ahead of their competition, network with other like like-minded business owners and hear from keynote speakers in a private and unique presentation environment.
The July 22 MIB event looks at how to create and communicate your personal brand and how network effectively to build valuable and profitable networks.
Attendees will learn how to conduct a personal SWOT analysis and then create a unique personal brand. They will also learn the elements of building a network and the science of networking and non-verbal communication theory.
Presenters for the evening include creative director of BrandManager and Chairman of the Sydney Hills Business Chamber, Tony Eades and the “doctor of networking”, Adjunct Professor Jim Taggart OAM.
Tony has over 20 years’ experience in digital marketing and business branding. He writes for Kochie’s Business Builders, CEO and National Retail magazines, Anthill and Dynamic Business and was recently interviewed on ABC TV nationally.
Jim has completed a Masters Degree in Commerce, majoring in Financial Planning, has a Diploma of Teaching, a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts from Macquarie University and a Doctorate in Business Administration.
Jim holds a QPIB qualification for general insurance, is a past President of the Association of Financial Advisers for Australia and held a position on the Board of APLIC (Asia Pacific Life Insurance Council) from 2011 to 2013 as the Australian representative.
Both presenters will provide their unique insights into branding and networking before conducting a private Q and A with the 40 local business owners attending.
The exclusivity of a Gold Class venue limits each MIB event to just 40 attendees and provides for an exclusive, five-star networking and entertaining environment.
The evening begins at 6pm with networking drinks and canapés before moving into the reclining leather seats of the Gold Class Experience.
During the main presentation which runs until 8pm guests are served with Event Cinema’s famous tasting plate and another drink from the bar.
